Stonewalls

The building of stone walls is an ancient art. From the fortified Great Wall of China to the dry stone walls of Ireland, warriors and farmers alike stacked stones to defend and define their lands. Today, we place stone walls to guide visitors to our entrances, to fortify sloping hillsides, to create nostalgic vistas. Land Art stone masons regularly design winding dry stack walls, fieldstone retaining walls, and many other combinations of stone and brick, incorporating fences, gates and arbors. Here are a few of our stone wall projects.
